Nice Job, I wonder if something simmilar could be done in linux using the multiple desktops, allowing for live screenshots of any GUI running on the background desktop.
What happens if you load a page that is streaming a video? Can you save to sequencial file names and create a timelapse image?

Yep, you could absolutely create a timelapse image with this from a live stream or anything "live" on a page.
