Canceling Student Debt Would Be a ‘Brahmin Bailout’ (wsj.com)

WSJ, pull your head out. No one is going to call it brahmin. Who the Eff in american knows what that is? We don't really pay any attention to India. It exists sure and the break out stick fight with china over a border a few months ago was entertaining, but that's about it.

The only reason this is being seriously considered is because the president has the power to cancel federal student debt without consulting Congress. There are some arguments that canceling student loans would be a much needed stimulus but as far as economic stimuli go, there are much better ways to spend $1.5T.

I also think it's wrong to do this without seriously addressing the ballooning cost of college.
