Ask HN: Adding Category to Flagged Posts

I see some posts getting flagged for reasons not very clear. Can HN add a feature to assign category before flagging a submission? e.g. [political], [speculation], [inflammatory] etc. It would be very helpful to the person submitting the post and take out any guesswork on why a post was flagged.

If you are asking about your last submission, I assume it was flagged because there's already multiple large threads about it. (which HN already marks specially if someone also comments a link to an earlier discussion, but that didn't happen here)

Giving a reason otherwise would also be tricky since it takes multiple people to flag, so whose reason do you show, and what's a complete list of flag reasons?
