Essential workers and frontliners, prioritizing them makes sense given the heightened risk that they face.

No, essential workers are younger and face much less risk than the elderly.

Essential workers can become ill, but they mostly recover and get well, whereas the elderly become ill and die.

Good point

The elderly if you want to save lives (i.e., you're looking at numbers only); the essential workers if you want things to run more smoothly.
