Ask HN: Approximately how much (estimated) does Reddit make from selling Awards?

Note I'm not asking anyone to disclose confidential information. I'm more-so just curious and looking for a ballpark answer, as I personally can't imagine spending real money on virtual "awards", yet I see many of these awards on various posts.

I wonder who the customer base demographic is, and how profitable this sort of thing is.
