Based off of this article, the management of Galileo sounds like a bit of a mess (seems consistent with their handling of the major "oopsie" last year)

One thing I'm curious about is, for receivers which handle the new satellites correctly, how do they impact the accuracy? I would imagine that sats in an eccentric orbit would be beneficial for the VDOP (measurement of how well a constellation's geometry will impact accuracy of elevation calculations)
