How much higher can Tesla stock go?

How much higher can tesla stock go? What sort of future are tesla bull envisioning, that is not already priced into the stock? A world in which tesla dominates the car and energy market? How how potential growth is there that justifies it going up so much?

This is not like the 90s tech bubble, in which stocks quickly fizzed, such as Microsoft, InfoSpace, Oracle, MicroStrategy, or Cisco, but tesla's gains are much bigger percentage-wise and will hold, whereas 90s tech stocks lost 90% of their value by 2003. I do not foresee a similar collapse for Tesla. Tesla def. seems to have something special going for it. Maybe tesla is the company laying the infrastructure for our future intergalactic type 3 civilization, in which case its potential value is as limitless as humanity. Same for Amazon, which many also in 2010-2016 also predicted would crash but never did.

Tesla could supply drive trains and batteries to other auto companies. They are likely getting the best talent in the space as well. Vertical integration is key as well. Self driving software is a good revenue stream as well, likely to be resold too.

That being said, 1000+ P/E seems insane

They did in the past, with the Toyota RAV4 EV, and some Mercedes B-Class. The drivetrains were not very good.
They are apparently the best now according to Sandy Munro. Maybe they were shipping the lower quality over to them?

regardless, past != future

Tesla is trying to be the Apple of cars. The market opportunity is more or less the same: a sort of default luxury brand for people who do not particularly care about cars but just want to own "the best one" without having to put any thought into it. So judging Tesla by their technology portfolio is going to lead you astray. They are banking a lot on building their brand and they have really good PR and I think they will succeed.
As long as money is being printed, it has to go somewhere
Any stock has a lower bound of 0 and no upper bound, so the answer is of course that no one knows.

$2,500 easily in the next 5-years.

We can still see $700 end of the year, and $1000 by next year.
