In this pandemic situation, almost the entire tech industry is working from home. Staying focussed & productive is a constant challenge especially when you are working alone. There are a good number of studies available on the web which show why do we start browsing social media just before 5 mins of a meeting or starting any difficult task.

The answer is - Our brain is wired to get instant gratification and it releases dopamine with constant gratification. That's why Social Media is very addictive.

I have written an article on Medium on how you can redirect your Social Media sites like Instagram, Facebook, Netflix, or any other site on which you are addicted, even Reddit :-) to something very simple which helps you bring your focus back to work or let's say help you Meditate.

Here are the steps

1. Install Requestly from Chrome Store - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/requestly-redirect-url-mo/mdnleldcmiljblolnjhpnblkcekpdkpa/

2. Open https://app.requestly.io/rules/#sharedList/1607487126556-Redirect-Social-Media-Sites-to-Stay-Productive-And-Calm (This link won't work if you don't have Requestly Installed)

3. Click Import List

Cheers! Stay Focussed & Stay Calm
