Speaking of things that are bad, the javascript that repeatedly tries to load profile images from twitter makes everything on the page jump up and down multiple times per second when the images are blocked by an adblocker.
But yes, installing Chrome is always a bad idea. Use Chromium if you must test your webapp, but use Firefox for your actual day-to-day browsing.
