Talk about burying the lede. How the hell did a school desegregation case keep going until a couple months ago?

If 700$ an hour is a reasonable price for the services rendered as the article indicates... Then the request seems reasonable. It's a bit confusing that this case took so long to be resolved... but thems the breaks. If the invoice is legit it's hard to have sympathy for anyone complaining.
