Ask HN: Modern PAR2 Alternatives?

3 points by sstephant ↗ HN
I'm looking for a robust archive file format for long term storage. My first thought was PAR2, I was using Quick Par back in the days. But it seems there's not much activity on the tooling. So my question, maybe there are more modern alternatives?

Unfortunately not, last I looked for it.

Maybe PyFileFixity is good enough for you?

I would love a stand-alone binary (a tool written in Go?) though.

Thank you. I did not know about this project. I'm not sure it will suit my needs but there's an interesting list of resources on the project page.
