Ask HN: Keeping score of forecasting as a project manager

Dear project managers on HN: What questions are you trying to answer in your forecast? Do you keep score of your predictions?

I work as a project manager in the construction industry.The projects are pretty long - maybe 2-3 years. I want to become better at forecasting my projects regarding time and money.

To get a better understanding of how to do that I read the book "Superforecasting: The Art and Science of Prediction" and I joined the "Good judgment project".

My takeaways from the book is that I have keep score and to ask the right questions. Does anyone here already do that?
