Ask HN: Questions that should be in FAQ?

Hi HN,

There are some questions I couldn't find answers to:

1. Is it possible to have a more customized RSS feed? Currently there are a lot of submissions that have no comments, or are dead. I'd rather see only 10 or 20 a day with the most active submissions, for example.

2. What does the "average" in one's profile mean? Is it the average karma per post? Is it a moving average (past X days)? Exponential moving average? How does it work?
