i would prefer "bust" for state-owned space agencies.
if anyone's interested to go to Mars, contribute money or labor to a private project or create your own.
there's absolutely no reason why an earth based government would use its taxpayer funds for BS activities outside its borders (in outer space, in fact - total lunacy - no pun intended), while the same organizations cannot fix roads or anything else for that matter, while they continue to take money for such services.
take your own money, give it to private companies and explore space on your own dime if that's what you want to do. how can anyone be so clueless to call for more government spending, let alone on such nonsense?
