My local radio station is promoting the idea of keeping your christmas lights up and lit until March 3rd (a local reference) in order to show unity and togetherness. I don't think its anything amazing or impactful, but interesting nonetheless.
One year my family left our wreath up through Valentines Day and we got an anonymous letter from a "concerned" neighbor: "Spring has sprung! Please remove your wreath." Never found out who wrote it. We left the wreath up another month.
It's been a rough year for many and I feel lucky to have been in Taiwan for it. It's not a lot, but I decided to give away five copies of my programming ebook to the internet on Twitter.
Any other creators out there, I can say that it's a great feeling to do some random giving. I don't mean today specifically, but in general.
