I have to admit i'm too old to understand why anyone would like this (but I have that with Instagram too for years already). Crazy I don't know, just different generations having access to tools no-one had before.
I was thinking that no (as far as I know outside black mirror) scifi series/movies got that right; that people will in the future largely (if this trend continues that is, but there is no reason to assume it will not) worry about how they look every second of the day, video/photo it and then getting likes on short videos that will be forgotten 10 minutes later.
