Being close to retirement age, one thought has haunted me the last few years: What if I'm bored out of my mind when I retire?

Well, it turns out that I have plenty of interesting projects and that boredom has not been an issue at all.

Obviously I've taken up reading the news again, kinda like cigarettes, but I plan to quit again, kinda like cigarettes. But those months when I wasn't reading the news? What a contented time. Never felt like I needed to buy a gun, or run for office, or any other unhealthy thoughts related to the state of the world the media wanted me to perceive.
