Show HN: Free unlimited mass email using mailto

Hello HN

I've very proud to submit this great addition to the world of SPAM (just kidding, really, SPAM is a serious thing, don't play with spam people, it's bad. I mean that. Really, I do.)

If you want to send your own "mass emails" I created a single static page for you to do it by hand. Open

In the first tab position in your browser.

Then just paste in your CSV list, and put in your template, then focus the "Next Email" button and use your keyboard to submit it (spacebar or enter).

If you're with GMail setup to handle mailto it will open a new email with your templated mail and you can send that with Ctrl/Command+Enter

(and Gmail will automatically close the previously sent email tab after a few moments)

Then switch back to your mail2merge tab (Ctrl+1). The next recipient's email will already be templated for you, so just hit spacebar again, and you're off. You'll soon get the hang of it.

NB: You could always hire someone else to do it for you!

NB2: text emails only (mailto limitation), and the length is limited (to encourage good email practice, short mails get more responses and save people's time -- but if you really want you can edit the HTML maxlength attribute in your DevTools ;)
