Elon Musk Believes That We Will Pay in Cryptocurrency on Mars (sirelonmusk.com)

If the intention is to immediately turn the planet into a capitalist environment, how long will it take before a middle class is formed, and Martian poverty becomes a thing?

Personally I think they should be considering something completely different than any type of currency.
