Ask HN: What are your goals for 2021?

I'd like to make at least $100 this year.

In 2020 I made $0 and just NEETed.

Hope to finish one of these projects I started in 2020. I'd like to get my life back on track in a few areas, but that's unlikely to happen.

Go on more multi-day fell hikes, 2020 I only had time for two.

Get more involved in the restoration of a local cinema (some timing..)

Improve parts of the algorithm behind https://www.cinetrii.com/

- Hit $1.5m ARR - Grow and advance the careers of my team - Use that growth to stop being involved in every little thing - Be a better Dad/Husband

I really hope I can finish this year with the successful business I’ve always wanted, while being better at home - they’ve been patient with me on this journey, I want this year to be the year it was all worth it.

Survive.

- Play less video games and use that time to read more

- Exercise

- Less takeout since I love cooking that is what I should do instead of being lazy :D

- Build a successful business of sustainability that is equal to or greater than my current salary at my day job

- Figure out whether I'm wasting my wife's time by staying

- Play a video game and enjoy it rather than be a workaholic

- Exercise more, eat better, and get back down to my ideal weight

Try to have more positive interactions with people. Leave them with the feeling that they have been acknowledged and their existence matters.

- Keep doing what I did in 2020

- Enroll in PhD program

- Learn Blender and 3d graphics.

- Start blogging on my own site again.

- Finish a game development project that isn't a tutorial or library. Or at least start one.

- Spend less time on Hacker News.

- Pay off at least half of the rest of my student loans.
