As someone who has done both remote and in-person management, some of the tools you use are different and you have to be conscious of different things (e.g. how much time the team has to socialize), but the skills are the same.
The most important thing is to trust your employees (no time tracking, no always-on video, etc.) and if you don't trust them, replace them.
Do not know if skills change. I’m expecting emphasis on certain skills to be more pronounced or even exposed when lacking. I’m a leaf node in a big co. hence curious to know of these shifts if true.
