I have no idea whether Jack Ma will be seen again or not, but I was just considering there may be a market for a browser extension that detects highly opinionated loudmouths and lists all the times they made crystal ball predictions that ended up being wrong (or right).
My biggest surprise is how no one told Mr. Ma it is not a good idea to publicly say what he said neither did he recognize the consequences growing up in that environment and seeing so many precedents.
After his "retirement" from Alibaba (allegedly the CCP was involved) he should have just laid low and become a sort of philanthropic guru like Bill Gates.
But then he got involved in the Ant IPO and poked the dragon.

Over time you get a lot of power and wealth, so naturally you'll eventually push against the ultimate power.
Unfortunately, in the case of the people's republic, if you push against the ultimate power you pay the ultimate price.
