Oumuamua seemed to accelerate as it moved away from the sun. A space rock moving only due to gravity shouldn't do this, though a comet might.

Gravity slingshot. Humans have used that effect themselves. There's nothing mysterious about it.

It sped up as it passed thru the heliospheric current sheet. It just had the corresponding charge to be repelled by it.

Loeb is right in regards to his criticism of the establishments explanation of the phenomena - which involved some rube-goldberg bullshit to pull off.

Unfortunately the role of electromagnetism is really downplayed in astronomers interpretations of our solar system and galaxy - though that is changing with a perceptible albeit slow shift in narrative among journals.

A great place if you want to check out current research is putting "plasma cosmology" in youtube and working from there.
