Posted this about 2 years ago, and revived it, as it seems more relevant today than ever before. As social media becomes our primary source of communication and the amount of data we continue to hand over for free, it only makes sense to have something that is truly untracked, unlogged, and absolutely anonymous. Ectochat uses P2P WebRTC technology and is completely open-source. Feel free to use it to talk any time with friends or family. Better to talk and know that no one is reading, listening, or can trace you at all.
