The iPhone commercial

I saw an iPhone commercial today.

It said if you don't have an iPhone, then you don't have the App Store, the world's largest selection of apps.

Which says to me that they're acknowledging smaller selections of apps elsewhere. And which shows Apple using the word "app" in a generic way, since if those apps are elsewhere they are another kind of app that are not Apple apps.

Just sayin'.

yeah but they aren't saying "the world's largest app store" ... (and that would actually be in contradiction with the amazon suit)
