FYI, I have no idea what "IC" means here. It is not explained or expanded anywhere...
As I was reading, I thought it could be "independent creator" or "individual creator"... but at the very end it mentions "your PM" which does not really mesh will with this definition.

IC means “individual contributor” here, like an engineer that doesn’t manage a team.
