I bought one of these a couple of years ago after becoming hooked on using 'the nipple' on my ThinkPad x220. Perfect when using an external monitor. I also bought a ThinkPad E495 last year. The newer nipples are not as nice as the one on the x220. I'm not sure if it's a driver problem or a hw problem, but I'm tempted to go back to my x220.
I prefer flutter to react any day of the week, but react literally change the game for front end programming. Angular was hard to use, and while I've never been a great react programmer it's relatively easy to get started with
On a sidenote, apparently everyone leaving FAANG becomes an investor. In comparison, ten years in a similarly-sized company in europe might buy you a slightly-larger-than-average house.
I don’t live with regret but sometimes I do wonder why I spent so much of my career not chasing those sweet stock options or doing the (relatively small) studying to get into a FAANG

[ 4.4 ms ] story [ 37.4 ms ] threadSadly, I'd never use it (very attached to ergo keyboards these days). But nifty, if only for the nostalgia value.

Lol. That's wishful thinking. You'd be lucky to get a 2 bed apartment in a not-terrible area with pretty bad sound proofing for that.
Unless you move out the areas where the tech companies are at(which is generally in dense cities).
It feels like a cheat code to retirement.
Anyways, no regrets ;)
