Just be warned that embedded video and audio is not supported in these ebooks. Both the books I tried have embedded content. The message I see is this: “Video content is not available in this format.”
Looks like the server needs to be updated. I am in a more restrictive environment but I'm not able to access the site as that server is using an unsafe protocol negotiation method.
It looks like the data's corrupted too. There's one book on the front page called "Ymarfer corff ac iechyd meddw". Unless it's some kind of crypto challenge.
Nope, just in Welsh. Sounds like it's about health effects of exercise and drinking?

LOL! I don't know if it was intentional or unintentional comedy and it makes it even better
All ePubs are free on Library Genesis.
oh gosh, that's wonderful, thank you so much!
And pirated. The OP is a legit site.
Oh my gosh, pirated!? You don't say!? I mean, how awful having workarounds of the entirely fair, completely balanced and decent system of laws that currently govern copyright in the U.S and much of the world....
"workarounds": i.e. illegal and the time and energy of the authors taken with no recompense.

And in this case undermining an admirable institution dedicated to improving the lives of those less privileged.

At least be honest about the subject in your choice of words.

Piracy should be the last resource, but I confess I've pirated all books I've read that were written by politicians. Feels like the fair thing to do.
The is a "Janis Joplin and the sexual revolution" course, interesting...
Linked page is not mobile-friendly, but at least the search results are.

But I just wanted to see what it has on Shakespeare. To view the search results I have to tell it my location and let it set a bunch of cookies. Clicking the X to dismiss the modal does nothing.

Different definition of "open" than I expected.

Open in the sense that anyone can pay to take their courses
The creator of the pagination is after the heart of hn readers.

Lists, especially long lists, don't make great HN submissions. HN itself is a list, so it's too much indirection:

It would be better to pick one of the most interesting specific items from the list and submit that. If you submit the list, there isn't much to discuss other than the lowest common denominator of the list elements, which is usually too generic to be interesting.

annoying that kindle doesn't support epub
take the epub file and rename the extension to .png

somebook.epub -> somebook.png

email to your kindle. done.
