Ask HN: Has anyone used an off-the-shelf SaaS starter like Bullet Train?

I'm about to kick off a new greenfields side project, and I'm wondering if anyone here has experience using a batteries-included SaaS webapp template like Bullet Train, User Gravity, or Laravel Spark. I'm particularly interested in the pitfalls and if you've actually used one of the above or a similar product in production.
