LISP died for many people on the need for this function. I sat in the back of a LISP session at IETF as people got in the microphone queue to say "but who is going to run the name service and mapping function"
Well.. looks like that problem is being solved.
I hate this being tied to 'chains. It is the kiss of death to work of merit. Better to tie it to 'distributed ledger models'
