Ask HN: As a German startup, how do you approach tech recruiting?

We're a German startup in post-seed / pre-series A stage and are looking for capable engineers. As anyone who's gone through this pain might know - easier said than done.

So here's my question to all of you startup founders and leaders in Germany: How do you approach tech recruiting?

I have no idea but why not share your startup so people can apply?
It would be useful to post in the Who's hiring thread, and add more information about your startup.

I'll send your contact information if you put them out to a friend of mine, a security engineer. He was in Berlin if I recall correctly.

We used linkedin + angellist with great success.
You could advertise open positions on German tech sites like t3n.de, DeutscheStartups, OMR.
You want experience engineers to take a risk on your startup, you pay above market salaries and/or give stock options. There is no magic bullet.
I’d recommend Thryve (I’m a customer) - they’re a recruitment agency that specialises in Germany.

I know that’s not the answer you wanted, but it’s worth it for the right talent and allowing yourself to concentrate on other things.
