Frankly, we are all Americans and share a lot of common struggles. The combination of strong partisan norms and linking that to wedge issues has done our body politic a lot of harm.
I am not talking about any move to center.
I am talking about a move to common ground, public awareness of public good and how we can talk about those things as people, not members of various tribesm
