The united association of union plumbers and pipefitters must be really happy now with their decision to support Biden for president.
Many large unions are like small empires and are self serving.
It's kinda funny that the Keystone XL Pipeline has been canceled, but the oil will still reach it's destination at a higher cost on trains and with additional damage to the environment from the locomotive diesel engines.
Strengthening the rail network and increasing the cost of oil? Sounds like the right incentives to me.
Fact is, US does not need dirty Canadian tar sands to refine - - - The Permian basin is WAY closer source of cleaner oil.

The Canadians need our Gulf coast Texas refineries WAY more than we need that dirty oil.
