I think that's the idea. It looks like they cover all the required algorithms in class. The final exam tests if you can recognize which to apply even if you're not familiar with the specific problem.
Definitely. I've had a fair few algorithms classes and recognize only the answer for problem 7. It's definitely not an easy exam, but it doesn't seem particularly difficult either.
