The sheer craziness of hiring independents over simply acting as a matchmaker platform and connecting companies with availability with people who need help still stuns me. The lawyers should have told them...but they seemed more interested in a simply <make money> role rather than an advisory one. Bring it back, focus on the Super Zips, encourage people to incorporate and serve as the lead generator...Care.com for the Home....simple.

Tidy gave it a shot for a while and has pivoted to SaaS. They also used contactors. (edit: looks like they are still cleaning with contractor also)
