If it's closing derivative positions that lack margin, that's their right.

If it's selling share positions because other positions have closed at a loss and the account holder hasn't funded that, that's their right too.

But just selling equities seems illegal and highly unlikely.

Given its a screenshot on twitter, I don't think we can assume it's the latter yet.

The firehose of contextless screenshots, unsubstantiated hearsay, and general freakout is out in full force today. The only thing any of it makes me believe is that it's time to get off the internet for a while.
Yeah. I guess this is the eb and flow of life. I sort of wish we could ban twitter submissions. I've only seen one that's useful in my many years of lurking.
