There is the law, and then there is the court of public opinion.

This (potential) lawsuit seems like revenge for denying FBs access to fingerprint/track/identify/sell everything about you. And such a case would spill out a lot details for the public to see. Kind of surprised they would lean this way.

Are there still Facebook users in 2021? Let alone people naive enough to install their shady app?

You don't have Instagram? All their apps should be treated the same.
I don't own a cell phone. I ordered a Librem 5 a couple years ago, it'll be my first one. I just don't like the idea of hauling around a GovCorp tracking pod with me.
Then hopefully you understand you're not the average Internet user. Not needing a smartphone in 2021 is a privilege, not a sacrifice.
