Ask HN: Best eInk Reader
I'm in the market for a new e-ink reader. My main goal is going to be just to read pdfs/ebooks on it, though note taking will be nice I'm torn between ReMarkable 2 and Onyxx Boox Note Air/3 (sadly I don't think I can justify the Lumi). Do any of y'all have experience with either/both? Is there a different brand y'all'd recommend?
Really, all I want is e-ink, frontlighting and some good battery life.

[ 545 ms ] story [ 978 ms ] threadIt seems like you want a larger screen but if you’re fine with a smaller screen and no writing capability I recommend you get a dedicated ereader like a kindle; they really do excel at the ereading experience
Otherwise, thanks. I was already leaning towards the Onyx so this probably seals it.
I don't need network access. I don't need writing. I don't need color.
Someday somebody will make one.
Best for reading, great battery life, with 300 ppi it has a screen that is very clear and easy to read on. The battery can last up to 8 weeks if you read for 30 minutes a day.
