Apple and Facebook at odds over privacy move that will hit online ads (theguardian.com)

"Small businesses" is starting to become "think of the children!" No one is entitled to my data, not FB and not "small businesses". So when my phone/mobile OS manufacturer says, "we're not going to let you have access to those data", quit yer bitchin'. But let's be honest about what is being said: it's not that such moves hurt small businesses, but rather it hurts Facebook's ability to sell to small businesses.

I'm moving to apple because they're the only company with the capital to piss off Facebook. Though I won't be an easy customer to keep around, they'll have to keep making expensive bets fighting for consumer privacy to keep me as a customer.
