When I hear these audio messages accompanied by the drawing of text and images, the 'animation' - rather than adding usefully to the message - serves only as a distraction from the words being spoken. What is the point of it?
It’s tapping into the visual noise we are all accustomed to. Without it, a simple audio clip player would be too meditative and people would become uncomfortable staring at nothingness.
