macOS Big Sur causes 28x TypeScript compile times

I've upgraded my MBP and all things Typescript/Node/Electron dev work crawled to a halt. https://ibb.co/7bNbgh8

First tsc run was running as is on macOS Big Sur, second was running the exact same code inside Docker. A 28x difference.
