Is software dev really a more valuable job than bus driver?

thank you! i love coding but people have to get places. something taking more skill...well listen...i know i couldn't drive a bus. i would snap on people. just because i love coding doesn't mean i should get paid more than a bus driver or a trash man.

Yeah, I would think, be on a bus with 40 or 50 schoolchildren? $20/an hour would not be enough.
