Ask HN: Did the government regulate renovation / construction during pandemic?

It boggles my mind that everyone decided that lockdown is the best time to start renovating their apartments.

Living and working from home became so unbearable it's hilarious.I'd rather commute 1h to the office than stay locked in this hellhole.
