How many more alleged hackers have to be revealed until we realize the root of the problem was installing the revolving door in every building and not necessarily the people walking in and out?

Care to expand what you're talking about? The article states that a bug was exploited, but not which bug. It also stated in the article that a SolarWind's spokesperson denied it being because of them.

Probably the fact that Solarwinds clearly had no businesses being a corporate contractor, let alone a high-level government and military one.
