Ask HN: Are there any good non-Google swipe keyboards and maps for Android?

I recently de-googled with LineageOS (so no access to Play Store), which has been AMAZING. Lineage is better than Android 10 and has better theming etc.

However, the two things that I'm missing the most are the swipe keyboard (Google's seemed to actually learn any unique words/acronyms that I'd use) and a good maps/GPS app for directions while driving.

For the latter, I can always fall back to in-vehicle navigation or a regular GPS device.

For the former... it seemed like there were a number of swipe keyboards when that was a hot tech area back in the day, but there don't seem to be any available in F-droid. Am I missing something?

(Of course, local speech recognition would be great as well, but that's traditionally not a strong open source area.)
