That's especially bad given that the Oxford/AstraZen vaccine has the most permissible storage requirements (basically, fridge temps, not -20C or colder for the mRNA vaccines).

This is the vaccine the Australian government is proposing to use on the vast majority of the Australian population.

This story has been picked up by a lot of media, but really lacks essential information (what does "far less" know). All we know is N=2000 (splot ~50/50%), and no one was hopitalized with COVID in the treatment group. We don't know how many cases occured in each group, and whether these cases were the SA strain.
