I last saw Chick live with Return to Forever at the Fabulous Fox theater in St. Louis in 2008. I think the band had been disbanded for 25 years.
It was the craziest audience I'd ever experienced for a jazz concert. 5 minute standing ovation when they came out (it was awkwardly long) and a roaring standing ovation for every single solo.
