The SFUSD school board has, at this point, become essentially a caricature of what conservatives think liberals are like. They're like if you took a strawman argument and willed it into reality.

It's really a shame, I hope they can be recalled somehow.

I'm not sure what California practices is liberalism.
The author seems to agree:
