People will hate it.
I consider myself to be curmudgeonly about a lot of change, but honestly Coke in a plastic bottle already tastes different than Coke in an aluminum can already tastes different than Coke out of a normal soda machine already tastes different than Coke out of a Freestyle machine. I can't imagine adding one more to the packaging pile is going to shake anybody's world, maybe in the future if they phase out plastic entirely.
I wonder why they don't target beverages that are already packaged in paper cartons and figure out the liquid liner part before moving on to the pressure and screw cap parts. I guess if the serving size is smaller there doesn't necessarily need to be a closable cap.
