How are non-tech people getting jobs?
I've been applying for all kinds of jobs as long as they're non-tech because I don't qualify. I totally understand my limitations - not having a developer or a programming background seriously reduces my chances of landing a job. I was still in training when I had to quit, so obviously my skillset is very specific to "lab" experience.
But a lot of labs aren't hiring people, so I'm left with few options. I also don't seem to qualify for customer care positions because I lack experience. My reasons for wanting a job are like many other people - I just want to get started somewhere and also be able to afford my monthly expenses. It's been 4 months since I started applying rigorously(expand to all kinds of jobs) and I'm running out of ideas and places to apply to. Does anyone have any suggestions/tips for me?
Thanks for reading, hope everyone is doing ok!

[ 4.5 ms ] story [ 13.7 ms ] threadFrom personal experience i would recommend to think out of the box. There are always "dirty jobs" that nobody thinks about that are happy to hire someone that uses the job as step and not as one way street. All kind of delivery work comes to mind, a friend of mine really enjoyed their "break year" in burger king before they re-started their carrer plans. Its not an solution, but it buys you the time to do what you want and actual real life work experince is worth a lot too, no matter what.
Whatever you find, i wish you good luck!
